Job Description: The Partner Sales Lead manages the 360-degree relationship globally with the partner, creates joint go to market programs and drives co-selling efforts as leader of the virtual team of geo partner managers. Develops and nurtures a strategic/mutually beneficial relationship with the partner or with Systems Integrators (SIs) and their ecosystem partners to drive additional revenue with joint sales efforts. Works closely with business development colleagues and sales teams to increase awareness of alliance related opportunities and engages with the appropriate HPE executive to build targeted strategic relationships to build long term business opportunities for the company. These jobs focus on selling to customers, typically through work that occurs outside HPE offices. Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.
