About The Position

At Webflow, we’re building the world’s leading AI-native Digital Experience Platform, and we’re doing it as a remote-first company built on trust, transparency, and a whole lot of creativity. This work takes grit, because we move fast, without ever sacrificing craft or quality. Our mission is to bring development superpowers to everyone. From entrepreneurs launching their first idea to global enterprises scaling their digital presence, we empower teams to design, launch, and optimize for the web without barriers. We believe the future of the web, and work, is more open, more creative, and more equitable. And we’re here to build it together. We are seeking an Partner Platforms Manager, AI to design and own the systems orchestration layer that enables a scalable, reliable, and trusted partner ecosystem. This role focuses on connecting specialized tools and platforms—rather than building them from scratch—by defining how partner lifecycle state, eligibility, compliance, and decision logic are represented and automated across systems. The goal is to reduce operational friction, minimize financial risk, and ensure automation remains accurate, auditable, and resilient as complexity grows. As partner programs mature, the challenge shifts from campaigns and tooling to building durable, cross-functional systems that integrate partners into go-to-market operations with clarity and correctness. In this role, you will translate complex business requirements into scalable, AI-assisted workflows that support onboarding, eligibility enforcement, routing, attribution, and financially sensitive processes. You will think deeply about APIs, data flows, and system boundaries to ensure external partners interact seamlessly with internal revenue, marketing, and finance systems. You will work closely with Partner Operations, Revenue Operations, and Marketing Operations, operating at the intersection of these teams while owning partner lifecycle logic and cross-system automation. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys designing connective infrastructure, thrives in multi-motion GTM environments such as agencies or partnerships, and is motivated by building systems that are not just functional, but trustworthy and future-proof.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in systems engineering, automation, technical operations, RevOps, or data engineering roles within a SaaS environment
  • Hands-on experience integrating multiple systems with overlapping or conflicting data ownership
  • Inclination towards systems thinking, including lifecycle state modeling, eligibility logic, and auditability
  • Experience translating ambiguous business rules into deterministic, scalable system workflows
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for automation, integration logic, and data validation

Nice To Haves

  • Are comfortable operating in high-stakes domains where errors can impact partners, revenue, or compliance
  • Can clearly explain system behavior, constraints, and tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders
  • Have experience supporting partner programs, marketplaces, or ecosystem-based business models
  • Are familiar with partner management, enablement, or payments platforms
  • Have applied experience using AI in constrained, production environments where outcomes must be explainable and actively monitored
  • Stay curious and open to growth — actively building fluency in emerging technologies like AI to unlock creativity, accelerate progress, and amplify impact.

Responsibilities

  • Design and own the partner systems orchestration layer: Architect how partner-related systems work together across onboarding, enablement, deal collaboration, and incentives. You will define clear system boundaries, sources of truth, and integration patterns that keep partner data accurate and trustworthy
  • Translate partner program requirements into system logic: Convert complex partner rules and policies into deterministic, auditable workflows that govern partner eligibility, progression, and payout readiness. Ensure these rules scale without relying on manual review.
  • Design automation with clear guardrails: Build workflows that balance rule-based logic, AI-assisted decisioning, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints. You will be responsible for deciding where automation is appropriate and where correctness requires human oversight.
  • Apply AI selectively and responsibly: Use AI to support triage, exception handling, and insight generation in partner operations. Establish evaluation and monitoring approaches to ensure automated outcomes remain explainable, accurate, and safe, especially in financially sensitive workflows.
  • Own cross-system integration and reliability: Design and maintain integrations across PRM, partner management, enablement, and finance systems. Anticipate partial failures, asynchronous events, and data discrepancies, and design for reconciliation, recovery, and observability.
  • Ensure production readiness and operational clarity: Define standards for monitoring, alerts, documentation, and runbooks for partner-critical systems. Make system behavior understandable and predictable for operational teams who rely on it day to day.
  • Partner closely across functions: Collaborate with Partner Operations, Finance, RevOps, Marketing Operations, Support, and Engineering to ensure systems meet compliance, audit, and reliability expectations. Clearly communicate system behavior, constraints, and tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Design for change and long-term scalability: Build systems that can evolve as partner programs change, minimizing technical debt and allowing underlying tools or vendors to be replaced without disrupting partner experience or business operations.
