The Global Partnerships team develops and manages relationships with our most critical technology and ecosystem partners. The team executes on high-impact, cross-functional initiatives with these partners across new products, geographic expansion, user advocacy, and policy. These partnerships have a significant impact on Stripe and the products used by millions of our users. The Crypto Partnerships team, which sits within the Partnerships organization, is a vital arm of Stripe's crypto ecosystem growth and plays a crucial role in our mission to innovate within the crypto space. Our team is responsible for developing and managing Stripe's relationships with crypto ecosystem players that enhance Stripe's suite of crypto products.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, corporate development, or a related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience specifically in cryptocurrency, stablecoins, or blockchain technology partnerships
  • Proven track record of driving partnerships in payments, cryptocurrency, financial technology, or financial services
  • Deep knowledge of DeFi ecosystems and crypto infrastructure, including stablecoin protocols, blockchain networks, and payment solutions
  • Ability to identify and summarize trends in the crypto ecosystem, providing actionable insights to influence Stripe's product roadmap for crypto
  • Strong skills in building relationships with existing and new partners to align roadmaps, drive clarity, and ensure effective communication of progress
  • Extensive experience executing partnership strategies aimed at creating innovative product experiences and go-to-market models
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence various stakeholders both internally and externally
  • High agency and adaptability, thriving in a fast-paced environment with the ability to handle ambiguity and work autonomously

Responsibilities

  • Leverage industry knowledge to craft thoughtful partnership and product strategies, and execute deals and initiatives that support Stripe's crypto strategy
  • Gather inputs from and coordinate with internal cross-functional stakeholders to drive creation and execution of partner strategy
  • Partner with internal teams to evaluate, prioritize and build out partner programs
  • Ensure best-in-class, methodical partner and deal management rooted in milestone management, KPIs and alignment on opportunities of mutual interest
  • Identify partner stakeholders who have an aligned vision with Stripe, educate them about Stripe's value proposition, and build alignment between Stripe and our partner's executive teams
  • Manage multiple stakeholders with varying priorities and drive creative solutions and commitment to a shared goal
  • Exhibit an operationally focused mindset, with an ability to lead teams through complex relationship management activities by setting a clear vision, and running tight processes
  • Navigate a fast changing environment and develop expertise on Stripe and industry product offerings
