As a Business Development Manager, you will get to engage with vendor partners to strengthen relationships, facilitating partnering activities and programs resulting in positive sales growth. You will meet sales and activity performance goals, including pipeline reports by opportunity, and communicate monthly summaries of wins, losses, inhibitors, and net-new opportunities to management. Maintaining direct communications with inside and field sales management is essential, promoting collaboration with partner sales teams through face-to-face or virtual meetings. You will implement internally created call campaigns using business intelligence to identify new areas of opportunities and track, measure, and report campaign success. Additionally, you will present information to top management, public groups, and Quarterly Business Reviews, and attend company, vendor, and publisher trainings and webinars.
