Requirements

  • Senior leadership experience within an OEM, with a background in operations, procurement, product development, or strategy.
  • Proven expertise in manufacturing, assembly, supply chain, and operational transformation within the automotive sector.
  • Strong understanding of EV production, battery manufacturing, and emerging trends in automotive and mobility industries.
  • Experience launching and scaling new programs within an OEM, such as new product lines, manufacturing processes, or operational initiatives.
  • Ability to influence and advise C-suite executives and senior decision-makers on industry best practices and competitive strategies.
  • Strong industry presence with a deep understanding of OEM leadership dynamics, key stakeholders, and industry trends.
  • Superior problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex industry insights into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Shape the future of mobility by guiding top OEMs through complex challenges in operations, procurement, supply chain, product development, or manufacturing transformation.
  • Collaborate with BCG’s senior leadership to provide strategic guidance on operational excellence, supply chain resilience, and emerging industry shifts.
  • Expand the firm’s thought leadership in the automotive sector.
  • Generate significant growth in strategic priority areas.
  • Be directly involved in project execution to increase the value generated to clients.
  • Help build intellectual capital and the BCG brand.
  • Support and execute client work while transferring knowledge to junior team members.
  • Hire, coach, and mentor junior team members.
