About the position

The Partner Account Executive, reporting to the VP of Channel Partner, is a crucial member of the Partner Sales team at Verifone. This role is responsible for driving new partnership opportunities and maintaining relationships with an existing portfolio of accounts. It presents an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in high-growth, mission-driven environments.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed sales quotas within your designated book of business.
  • Maintain accurate and timely forecasts with a 12-month rolling view.
  • Ensure all account, opportunity, and forecast information is current and precise.
  • Drive daily sales activities with partners, partnered merchants, and key internal stakeholders.
  • Understand and communicate partner requirements and sales strategies for each opportunity.
  • Lead internal teams to engage and resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Confidently deliver customer presentations and demonstrations.
  • Share competitive intelligence with appropriate internal contacts.
  • Maintain significant face-to-face interaction with named accounts, necessitating extensive travel.
  • Develop account plans that align with Verifone’s and partners' business objectives.
  • Conduct regular touchpoints to review progress, gather feedback, and drive business growth (e.g., QBRs, monthly reviews).
  • Represent Verifone passionately at industry events and customer meetings.

Requirements

  • In-depth understanding of partner business operations and end-merchant needs.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience with a successful track record in selling complex solutions to large accounts.
  • Preferable experience in selling payments, point of sale, e-commerce, or cloud-based solutions through partnerships.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com is desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
