About The Position
Founded in Silicon Valley in 2009 by Marc Andreessen and Ben Horowitz, Andreessen Horowitz (aka a16z) is a venture capital firm that backs bold entrepreneurs building the future through technology. We are stage agnostic. We invest in seed to venture to growth-stage technology companies, across AI, bio + healthcare, consumer, crypto, enterprise, fintech, games, and companies building toward American dynamism. a16z has $45B in assets under management across multiple funds. Speedrun is a16z’s program for very early-stage startups, where we invest in founders pushing the limits in Tech, Entertainment, & AI. Our team offers hands-on help with product, go-to-market, growth, fundraising, and hiring. It’s early days for Speedrun, which means you’ll play a central role in building and scaling the talent infrastructure behind the program as it's being built. Through Speedrun, we’ve invested in over 120 startups like k-ID, Hedra, Favorited, Altera, Lil Snack, Human Computer, Nunu, Genway, and SweatPals. Our team is at the forefront of new technology, helping founders and their companies impact and change the world.
