About The Position

Employee Fiduciary, LLC is a professional services firm experiencing rapid growth. Our company has been profiled in Money magazine and is a leading provider of low-cost 401(k) plans to small and mid-sized businesses. Employee Fiduciary is currently seeking a Participant Support Specialist for our Operations department. Our Operations department is responsible for processing annual contributions, fund transfers, payroll/source/trading corrections, answering participants/plan sponsors questions, etc. This position is based out of our Mobile, AL headquarters and reports to the Operations Manager. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, group life, 401(k), FSA, and more. This position is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to begin a career in the 401(k) industry. This is an entry level position and training will be provided at our Mobile, AL office.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage multi-line phone system.
  • Ability to use general office equipment including computer keyboard by touch, voice mail system, copy machine, and printers
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to learn and maintain a working knowledge of Pension Pal software
  • Effective communications skills with ability to handle difficult people or situations
  • Ability to learn and understand company processes, procedures and standards
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
  • Ability to proficiently read, write and communicate clearly in English
  • Ability to interact cordially and productively with all company employees
  • General business, accounting or finance degree preferred.
  • Two years related work experience and accounting classes may be substituted for degree.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with Relius or similar software is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Answers incoming calls and manages incoming emails.
  • Answers participant inquiries by clarifying desired information; researching, locating, and providing information.
  • Routes non-participant inquiries to the appropriate party.
  • Follows policies and procedures set forth by the company
