Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience, OR A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in the discipline, OR Master's Degree (no prior experience required for Master's level candidates).
  • BLS certification is required upon hire. Acceptable credentialing bodies include: American Red Cross: CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer American Safety and Health Institute: CPR/PRO (must specify "Professional Level-with AED") American Heart Association: Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
  • Deep understanding of ambulatory behavioral care principles and practices.
  • Expert knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and professional standards governing behavioral health services.
  • Proven project management abilities to drive initiatives from inception to completion.
  • Exceptional communication skills - articulate, persuasive, and able to inspire collaboration.
  • Strategic planning acumen to foresee challenges and chart effective courses of action.
  • Skilled in change management, guiding teams through transitions with confidence and clarity.
  • High level of self-motivation, a strong team orientation, and unwavering professionalism.
  • A commitment to trust and treating all individuals with dignity and respect.

Nice To Haves

  • Five years of progressive work experience, including at least two years in a leadership role within an inpatient or outpatient behavioral health environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the full continuum of behavioral health services and administration.
  • Advanced understanding of all relevant behavioral health laws, regulations, guidelines, and professional standards.
