Candidates will assist with field studies in the State College area focused on turtles and newts. Duties will include searching for and measuring and marking animals; following animals using radio telemetry; collecting other data and samples in the field; data entry; and equipment upkeep. Candidates must be able to work outside in field conditions including dealing with hot weather, rain, mosquitos, and ticks. This job requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid US driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
