About The Position

This position is a part-time, temporary position filled each semester on an as-needed basis. This posting will stay open continuously in order to build a pool of qualified candidates for future openings as lab coordinators. Applicants will not be notified unless there is an actual need to fill the position.

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Two years of welding experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to lift 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

• Technical Certificate
• Two years on-the-job training

Responsibilities

• Assisting Program Chair or Adjunct Faculty in answering questions from students regarding lab projects
• Teaching demonstrations
• Performing minor repairs on equipment
• Preparing equipment and materials for labs
• Maintaining tool room
