About The Position

A busy downtown Manhattan Family is in search of a part-time weekend housekeeper to join their team. This schedule is flexible and open for the right person- either Saturday and Sunday, or just 8am to 8pm on Sunday. When you apply, please write what days and hours work for you long-term.

Requirements

• Able to work weekends
• Able to run errands and be out and about
• Self-directed

Responsibilities

• Housekeeping, tidying and general interior care
• Laundering of clothes and linens; pressing/steaming as needed
• Manage the family’s laundry
• Packing and unpacking principals bags
• Managing the inventory of household supplies, including breaking down boxes
• Cleaning out the Fridge and running to the store
• Sending out clothes to the dry cleaner and receiving them
• Basic food prep (e.g., washing and cutting fruit to store for kids, washing lettuce to store for salads, etc.)
• Errands
