About The Position

Phigenics is seeking a candidate with a flexible schedule who is interested in working 20 hours on average per month, DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS, in the Springfield, IL area. We will train the right person to take on-site readings via a testing instrument (i.e., chlorine, temperature, and pH readings) and collect building water samples to be sent to a lab for cultures. This role will also help service existing clients by maintaining and troubleshooting water monitoring equipment. Travel within a 100-mile radius is expected on occasion.

Requirements

• Self-motivation and capacity to work independently
• Excellent communication abilities
• Basic computer skills
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for at least two years

Nice To Haves

• Experience in facilities services within a hospital
• Some college courses in Chemistry or Biology
• Comfortable taking apart water monitoring equipment and understanding its parts
