About The Position

The Warehouse Associate handles incoming and outgoing materials, organizes inventory, and ensures the warehouse operates safely and efficiently. This role supports shipping, receiving, and daily inventory needs for the installation and service teams.

Requirements

  • Prior warehouse or inventory experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate material-handling equipment; forklift certification a plus.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently when needed.
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces when required
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite, and the ability to learn and effectively use software applications used in the performance of job duties.
  • Remaining in a stationary position (e.g., sitting or standing) for extended periods
  • Frequent movement, including walking, bending, reaching, or climbing stairs
  • Use of hands and fingers to operate computers, tools, or equipment
  • Occasional lifting and/or moving of items up to 50-75lbs, depending on the role
  • Working indoors and/or outdoors in various environmental conditions

Responsibilities

  • Receive and unload incoming shipments of windows, doors, and bath products.
  • Pull and prepare products for upcoming installations and service appointments.
  • Coordinate the shipment of merchandise to various company locations.
  • Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other material-handling equipment.
  • Utilize the inventory management system to record, track, and update product information.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times.
  • Verify quantities and record all products received, distributed, or shipped, including noting any shortages or damages.
  • Assist with daily cycle counts and year-end physical inventory audits.
  • Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and packaging of all products and materials.
  • Oversee loading, unloading, and movement of materials by hand or equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
  • Pick, stage, and ship items in accordance with company standards.
  • Prioritize safety by following all company policies, procedures, and equipment guidelines; report any accidents or incidents immediately.
  • Perform routine inspections of warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks and report maintenance needs.
  • Maintain accurate shipping documentation, including manifests and packing lists, ensuring all outgoing shipments match required records.
  • Adhere to all fleet safety requirements, including maintaining a clean and compliant company vehicle, safe driving practices, and the ability to remain insurable under Company policies throughout employment.
  • Deliver materials to jobsites and company locations as needed.
