Requirements
- A skilled technician with proficiency in veterinary procedures and treatments.
- Someone who communicates with professionalism, empathy, and understanding.
- Reliable, team-oriented, and detail-focused
- Passion for gold standard medicine and compassionate client/patient care.
- Available to work rotating Saturdays
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, surgery, dentistry, and appointments
- Perform phlebotomy and properly handle/prepare in-house and outside laboratory specimens
- Place IV catheters and utilize general microscope and centrifuge equipment
- Accurately dispense and track medications with general pharmaceutical knowledge
- Provide compassionate support to clients and assist with humane euthanasia
- Maintain accurate medical records and support billing accuracy
- Collaborate with all team members to promote hospital efficiency and workflow
