About The Position

BJC HealthCare System is now hiring a Part-Time Registered Vascular Sonographer for Barnes Jewish West County Outpatient Medical Building located at 1020 North Mason, office building #3, suite 130 St. Louis, MO. This position is part-time with dayshift hours on Tuesday and Wednesdays, totaling 12 hours per week. The hours of operation are from 7:30 am to 4 pm, with no weekends, holidays, or call shifts. Please note that this position is outpatient and non-benefits eligible.

Requirements

• Associate degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education)
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) or equivalent
• 2 years of experience (preferred)

• Experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
• Experience as an Ultrasound Technician
• Experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
• Experience as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
• Experience in Abdominal, Vascular imaging, radiology

Responsibilities

• Performs vascular ultrasound imaging examinations and ensures proper documentation of procedures.
• Performs vascular studies independently, may perform studies on-call, portable exams, and at other sites as required by work area.
• Ensures proper function and readiness of all equipment.
