About The Position

VCA Urgent Care Animal Hospital – Sugar House is seeking a P/T Veterinarian to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. Why Join the Team? Requirements

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree.
• Valid veterinary license in the state of Utah.
• Experience in urgent care or emergency veterinary medicine is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with a variety of cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide same or next day care for common pet concerns such as allergic reactions, diarrhea or vomiting, ear infections, eye issues, fleas/ticks/mites, derm, wounds/lacerations, lethargy, loss of appetite, pain or limping, respiratory disease, toxin ingestion, and urinary issues.
• Connect with clients and diagnose pets.
• Develop treatment plans for pets.
