About The Position

The Union Janitor position at Warren Sherwood PDC, 2040, plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both employees and visitors within the Consumer Support Services industry. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred but not required.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physical capability to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces throughout the facility.
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with environmental and safety regulations.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
  • Restock cleaning supplies and ensure all equipment is maintained and stored properly.
  • Follow union guidelines and safety protocols while performing all duties.
  • Assist with setup and cleanup for special events or meetings as needed.
