About The Position
The Math Studio is seeking mathematically-minded individuals with an interest in teaching or part-time tutoring. The primary task is to assist and promote active learning for Math Studio students. Tutors may also be expected to assist with exam proctoring and other academic duties.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree, preferably in a STEM discipline is required.
- A criminal background check will be conducted.
- Ability to work successfully in a multi-cultural environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience tutoring is preferred.
- Communication - able to effectively communicate in a professional, diplomatic, empathetic, and tactful manner using preferred method and level as applicable to the job.
- Relationship Management - able to personally provide high level of interactive service to others, building relationships and addressing identified needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide tutoring to students in algebra courses.
- Assist instructors in performance of their duties
- Assist with proctoring as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
