About The Position

The Part-Time Tutor position is designed to provide supplemental practice and learning support to students, aiding in targeted skill development. The tutor will utilize interventions as guided by campus administration and conduct individual and small group sessions as needed to support students in their academic journey.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
• Experience working with children in an educational setting
• Knowledge of academic subject assigned
• Basic knowledge of curriculum and instruction
• Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Student teaching, approved internship, or related work experience

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate behavior that is professional, ethical, and responsible
• Comply with district policies, as well as state and federal laws and regulations
• Adhere to the district's safety policies and procedures
• Maintain confidentiality in the conduct of district business
• Interact with students and/or district employees in the specific work site assigned
