About The Position

The Part Time Tutor Coordinator provides leadership development and training resources for tutors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and three (3) years of related experience
• All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
• Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures
• Possesses excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Possesses good interpersonal skills
• Possesses excellent organizational and decision-making skills
• Possess excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments
• Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff

Responsibilities

• Provides organizational support and establishes strong communication with on-site tutors
• Identifies training needs for tutors
• Tracks tutor and student attendance
• Trains and mentors tutors
• Provides student progress reports
• Collaborates with disciplines and departments as needed to provide services
• Perform other duties as assigned
