About The Position

Requirements

  • 1-3 years experience coaching or participation in track & field and/or cross country.
  • A current valid driver's license, in accordance with the University's Driver Safety and Motor Vehicle Use Policy, is required.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.

Nice To Haves

  • 4+ years experience coaching or participation in track & field and/or cross country

Responsibilities

  • Assist Colgate's track & field and cross country programs at practices and competitions. Job duties include but are not limited to skill instruction.
  • Responsible for execution of specific strategic activities and outcomes within assigned sport or area. These will include sustained performance and execution in the following areas: Adhere to Head Coach's philosophy
  • Athletic instruction/coaching
  • Program operations and administration as designated by Head Coach
  • Responsible for role modeling behaviors and leadership for student-athletes.
