About The Position

Seven Starling is a leading virtual provider of women's behavioral health services supporting women through reproductive life stages. Seven Starling's holistic clinical model combines specialized therapy, peer support, and medication management to effectively treat common mental health conditions including depression and anxiety, with 94% of patients seeing a clinically significant improvement in their symptoms after completing the program. Seven Starling partners with healthcare providers across the country and leading health plans including UnitedHealthCare, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Aetna to make care easily accessible and affordable. Seven Starling is looking for a Part-Time Mental Health Provider to add to its world-class therapist team. You will work with Seven Starling’s clinical and leadership team to consistently deliver a high quality care experience to our patients. Our ideal candidate is a behavioral health professional with an interest in maternal mental health currently located in North Carolina. You’ll excel in this role if you are excited about working at an early stage company, pioneering the future of women’s mental health, and are motivated by the broad impact that you will have in your role!

Requirements

  • Independently licensed in North Carolina (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LPCC, Psychologist)
  • North Carolina Residency requirement
  • At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in perinatal or women’s mental health
  • Strong grounding in evidence-based modalities and trauma-informed care
  • Comfort and proficiency with virtual platforms, EHRs, and telehealth best practices
  • Commitment to participating in a collaborative team model with shared consultation and continuous learning
  • Passion for Seven Starling’s mission and an eagerness to contribute to a growing, dynamic company

  • Multi-state license is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, evidence-based care through teletherapy, for clients navigating the perinatal journey.
  • Available to work during standard business hours: 8am-8pm with at least 20% of appointments being available after 4pm (approximately 5 appointments). 24 client appointments per week
  • Participating in clinical consultation individually and in groups, and joining our monthly clinical team meeting
  • Delivering the Seven Starling Care Model by utilizing evidence-based modalities (CBT, ACT, IPT, attachment-based approaches)
  • Creating and maintaining high-quality documentation and treatment plans
  • Collaborating with a supportive clinical team in a feedback-rich environment
  • Contributing to company-wide initiatives aligned with your interests
