About The Position

The position involves essential duties and responsibilities primarily focused on the loading and unloading of grain trucks, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the elevator and its surroundings. This includes cleaning dryers, bins, and tunnels, and performing light maintenance on elevator equipment and grounds. Team members are expected to observe and enforce all company policies related to personnel, quality, safety, and food safety. A positive work atmosphere is crucial, and effective communication and cooperation with customers, clients, coworkers, and leadership teams are emphasized. Additionally, participation in process improvement initiatives and problem-solving activities is encouraged, utilizing methodologies such as Six Sigma. Team members are also responsible for recognizing and acting on safety incidents and risks, consistently practicing and promoting safe work habits throughout the organization.

Requirements

• Some computer skills.
• Ability to operate mechanical equipment.
• Comfortable climbing high structures.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload grain trucks daily.
• Clean dryers, bins, tunnels, and maintain housekeeping of the elevator and grounds.
• Perform light maintenance of elevator equipment and grounds.
• Observe and enforce all company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating effectively with customers, clients, coworkers, and leadership teams.
• Participate in process improvement and problem-solving utilizing continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma.
• Recognize and act on incidents and safety risks.
• Consistently practice and enforce safe work habits.
