About The Position

The Revenue Control Teller assists with the daily issuance, return, and reconciliation of cash used in the operation of the zoo, the collection and reporting of vending and coin operated systems, and the deposit of funds to banking institutions. The Revenue Control Teller must follow and maintain the procedures of the secure cash control environment and demonstrate a high level of ethics and integrity.

Requirements

• Valid state driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years or old.
• Extensive cash handling experience preferred.
• Strong communication and clerical skills preferred.
• Microsoft Office and 10 key adding machine skills required.
• Candidates might be (depending on position) required to pass a pre-employment background check, drug test, negative skin tuberculosis test, and possess a valid driver’s license with a good history.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all vault policies and procedures are followed.
• Issue start tills and process returns.
• Collect daily register bank bags.
• Roll loose coin for recirculation.
• Distribute petty cash.
• Assist customers with lost and found items.
• Prepare daily, weekly, bi-weekly and monthly deposits.
• All other duties assigned.
