About The Position

WLFI TV 18, the CBS, CW affiliate in West Lafayette, IN, is looking for a candidate looking to gain directing and Master Control experience. The ability to run Master control, ingest media into servers, and monitor on air signal output are the main responsibilities. This position may also direct live news casts, and may perform various other tasks during live news broadcasts including audio operation. The candidate will prepare playlist and programs for next day air, and purge content from previous day's logs. He / She must have good communication skills and the ability to react quickly to changes. Ideal Candidates must be extremely detail oriented, have a strong desire to learn, be able to work as part of a team, and be able to work flexible hours.
