About The Position
Help Kids Learn and Grow — Be a Part-Time Teacher Assistant! Do you enjoy working with children? Want a job where you can make a real difference every day? Join our team at Chambliss Center for Children as a Part-Time Teacher Assistant! Positions open with several age groups. What You Get: Great experience in early childhood education — perfect if you want to grow in this field. On-the-job training to help you learn and build your skills. Pay starts at $11/hour if you have a high school diploma and no experience. Earn more if you have a CDA or other child care experience — up to $13/hour or more! Work Monday–Friday , opening or closing shifts. Openers : 6:30am - 12:00pm. Closers: 2pm - 6pm.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a high school diploma or GED.
- Be able to pass a fingerprint background check.
- Have some experience working with children.
Responsibilities
- Help teachers in the classroom and support children during play, learning, and other activities.
- Keep kids safe and happy — inside, outside, and during special events.
- Lead fun activities that help kids grow in how they think, move, and get along with others.
- Keep the classroom clean and organized.
- Be kind and respectful to other staff, parents, and volunteers.
- Watch for any health needs and help children as needed.
- Do other helpful tasks as asked.
