About The Position

Make a meaningful difference in a child’s earliest years—just a few hours a day. Do you love working with young children and have experience in early childhood education? Chambliss Center for Children is looking for a part-time Teacher Assistant to support our Early Head Start classrooms (ages 8 weeks–3 years). This role is ideal for someone with a CDA or early childhood background who wants a consistent, part-time schedule while still making a big impact. Requirements

  • Child Development Associate (CDA) required (or higher degree in early childhood or related field)
  • Experience working with infants and/or toddlers in a classroom setting
  • A dependable, flexible approach—you’re comfortable jumping in where needed
  • A warm, patient, and team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to pass a fingerprint background check
