About The Position

Help Kids Learn and Grow — Be a Part-Time Teacher Assistant! Do you enjoy working with children? Want a job where you can make a real difference every day? Join our team at Chambliss Center for Children as a Part-Time Teacher Assistant! Positions open with several age groups. What You Get: Great experience in early childhood education — perfect if you want to grow in this field. On-the-job training to help you learn and build your skills. Pay starts at $11/hour if you have a high school diploma and no experience. Earn more if you have a CDA or other child care experience — up to $13/hour or more! Work Monday–Friday , 2pm - 6pm. Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Have a high school diploma or GED.
Be able to pass a fingerprint background check.
Have some experience working with children.

Responsibilities

Help teachers in the classroom and support children during play, learning, and other activities.
Keep kids safe and happy — inside, outside, and during special events.
Lead fun activities that help kids grow in how they think, move, and get along with others.
Keep the classroom clean and organized.
Be kind and respectful to other staff, parents, and volunteers.
Watch for any health needs and help children as needed.
Do other helpful tasks as asked.
