About The Position

We have a healthcare client in Brentwood, TN seeking an interim and part-time tax accountant to support their team from May - August. This role would prefer someone to be on-site for training and then would be flexible to remote. MUST be local to greater Nashville. This role will support the tax team with sales and use tax filings (quarterly and monthly deadlines). We are seeking someone with experience in sales and use filings, and advanced in Excel. This role will require someone with great organization, as this is a multi-state entity setup.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an accountant
• Experience with sales and use tax filings
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (Lookups, Pivot Tables)
• Ability to commit to 20-30 hours a week

Responsibilities

• Support the tax team with sales and use tax filings
• Meet quarterly and monthly deadlines for tax filings
• Organize and manage multi-state tax filings
