About The Position
Sharkey's Cuts for Kids is hiring a part-time Hair Stylist for kids and families! If you need additional hours, are getting back into styling, or have life commitments, we are a perfect match! Come be your best self and join our team earning $50 an hour right away! Generous tips and commissions! Get your money quick: cash tips daily, electronic tips every Friday via direct deposit! No service fees or applications for tips! Paid Time Off! Training and learning environment: Classes and continuing education provided! Flexible Short Shifts! Requirements
- Current Cosmetology license in Nebraska
- Ability and desire to work with kids (0-14) and parents
Responsibilities
- Provide full salon services, including hair cutting, shampooing, blow drying, and styling
- Listen to and communicate with clients to ensure their complete satisfaction and provide excellent service.
- Ensure all services meet high quality standards.
- Keep on top of current hair cutting and styling trends.
- Maintain cleanliness of salon and apply hygiene practices across all beauty stations.
- 5-20 hours availability per week
- Able to work when customers needs us, afternoons through 7 on the weekdays, 10-5 weekends.
- No late shifts required.
- Rotating weekend availability highly preferred
