About The Position

In this role, you will execute sales floor merchandising, pricing and recovery and deliver excellent customer service. The position involves executing store merchandising standards following merchandise and visual guidelines, remerchandising and replenishing the salesfloor based on sell through and seasonal changes with a focus on customer experience, engaging customers by greeting them and offering assistance, and accurately executing pricing activities. Associates are also responsible for preventing loss, supporting and partnering with other associates on merchandising incoming product, acting with integrity, fostering teamwork, exercising good judgment, demonstrating a customer service mindset, supporting point of sale and customer service departments, meeting individual goals, accomplishing multiple tasks within established timeframes, following company policies and safety standards, and proactively responding to direction from supervisors/managers.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
  • Verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • No prior retail experience required
  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to perform the accountabilities listed in the “What You’ll Do” Section
  • Ability to satisfactorily complete company training programs
  • Ability to comply with dress code requirements
  • Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and basic computer operation
  • Ability to operate and communicate on multiple frequency devices, handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
  • Ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance and meet scheduling requirements as set by the company
  • Ability to perform work in accordance with the Physical Requirements section

Responsibilities

  • Execute store merchandising standards following merchandise and visual guidelines for product presentation in a timely and accurate manner
  • Remerchandise and replenish salesfloor as necessary based on sell through and seasonal changes with a focus on customer experience
  • Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
  • Execute pricing activities (e.g., price changes, sign changes, ticketing) accurately and in a timely manner
  • Prevent loss by following all product protection standards
  • Support and partner with other associates on merchandising incoming product
  • Act with integrity, honesty and foster teamwork in an engaged and inclusive culture
  • Exercise good judgment and discernment when making decisions; taking appropriate partners as needed
  • Demonstrate a customer service mindset, anticipating customer needs and satisfactorily resolving issues
  • Support point of sale and customer service departments to deliver speed of service transactions while creating a compelling customer experience
  • Meet or exceed individual goals (e.g., productivity, credit, loyalty)
  • Accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
  • Follow company policies, procedures, standards and guidelines
  • Maintain adherence to company safety policies for the safety of all associates and customers
  • Receive, understand and proactively respond to direction from supervisors/managers and other company personnel
