About The Position

This part-time position is located in the employee store at the West Hershey plant, serving the needs of employees, retirees, and business guests. The role focuses on providing exceptional customer service, maintaining store appearance, and handling various retail tasks.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School diploma or GED equivalent required
• Customer service skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving skills
• Leadership and initiative
• General retail knowledge (a plus)
• Ability to walk or stand for 5-8 hours
• Ability to push, pull, lift, carry 40-50 lbs. and perform overhead lifting
• Requires bending, stooping, and twisting
• Effective communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Ability to complete sales transactions using a register and POS software

Nice To Haves

• Retail sales work experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong customer service skills
• Open the store on time and maintain a neat appearance
