About The Position

The Department of Mechanical Engineering is seeking a part time staff scientist under the supervision of Dr. Adri van Duin.

Requirements

• PhD in Materials Science or Chemisty
• Good understanding of computational chemical methods
• Good oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform Density Functional Theory calculations on mixed metal clusters and their interactions with Nitrogen/Sulfur/Oxygen (N/S/O)
• Convert these data into ReaxFF training sets and assist in the training process
