About The Position

The Clinical Staff Pharmacist will have the opportunity to apply your clinical expertise by evaluating and interpreting medication orders, compounding, and dispensing prescriptions in accordance with legal and professional standards. You will play a critical role in identifying, preventing, and resolving medication-related issues to ensure safe, effective, and individualized patient care. Through the application of evidence-based protocols, you will promote clinically sound and cost-effective drug therapy, contributing to improved patient outcomes and advancing the standard of pharmaceutical care. Schedule: This is a part-time position that will work at least 20 hours per week. About the Facility: River Point Behavioral Health and Wekiva Springs offer a full continuum of specialized services for youth, adults and seniors. Levels of care include inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. The clinical staff operates from a multidisciplinary team approach while providing individualized care to each patient and family member. In addition to acute inpatient psychiatry services the facilities offer specialized programs in the treatment of chemical dependency/detoxification. Requirements

  • ACPE-accredited pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD)
  • Active applicable state pharmacist license in good standing

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of experience as a pharmacist
  • Residency training and hospital experience
