Reporting to the Wellington Center Coordinator, the Staff Assistant provides direct support for outreach and enrollment related activities including proctoring exams, sharing general college information and serving as a liaison between the community and Lorain County Community College. The candidate must be well organized and able to deal effectively with individuals in a variety of roles across campus. The candidate must have the ability to produce correspondence, schedules and marketing materials; communicate effectively and professionally by phone, in person, and electronically; and assist in planning, organizing and implementing meetings, events and workshops. The ability to work independently, work cooperatively with other staff and faculty, and a willingness to learn and grow professionally is essential. This position is a 15-20 hour/week position normally scheduled 3 evenings from 1 PM – 8 PM Tuesday through Thursday. There is flexibility on the days and the starting time.
