About The Position
This position will entail field work in Pennsylvania and some laboratory work in a laboratory at University Park. The position involves making some field measurements of soil properties, collection and identification of soil and plant samples, and some laboratory analysis work. Ability to withstand warm temperatures and humidity are desired. This position will entail hiking and the carrying of samples out of the field. Sampling may entail compensated overnight stay during weekdays. This position requires that you operate a Motor Vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid U.S. Driver's License and successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Record check will be required in addition to a Standard Background Check.
