About The Position

Penn State Abington has an immediate opening for a part time Assistant Softball Coach. Penn State Abington is a member of NCAA Division III and the United East Conference. This is a part-time opening that reports to the Head Softball Coach and the Director of Athletics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and experience coaching softball.
• Ability to work in an outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.

Responsibilities

• Help the Head Coach with organizing all aspects of the softball program, including practice and game preparation.
• Assist in the recruitment of qualified student-athletes.
• Motivate student-athletes and encourage high academic standards and leadership skills.
• Manage the team's commitment to NCAA and United East Conference regulations.
