In this position, the assistant will be tasked with posting content on official social media accounts, including the Rockets' main account and auxiliary marketing accounts. The role requires fulfilling a robust content calendar that includes scheduled Game Night activations and other organizational initiatives. The assistant will also be responsible for curating news, trends, and cultural content across all social media platforms to brainstorm and create engaging posts. Coverage will heavily focus on Game Night processes, including pregame activations, in-game content, and post-game highlights. The assistant will create social-worthy content using creative templates and mobile applications, ensuring adherence to the creative guidelines of the Rockets and their partners. Additionally, the role involves publishing content through a content management system, including press releases, news articles, team highlights, and community videos for the Rockets' website and mobile app. The assistant will embody the organization's One Team philosophy, which emphasizes passion, accountability, customer focus, and teamwork.
