Part Time Shuttle Driver (Golf Course Groups)
About The Position
Plumas Pines Golf Resort is now offering golf packages to include transportation to and from Reno and surrounding cities. Our guests will sit back and enjoy private transportation and spend the day playing golf at our resort located in Graeagle, CA. We are seeking a reliable driver who is available part-time during the season May through October. Job Description: Are you a safe and reliable driver with a passion for customer service and a flexible schedule? We are seeking a Part-Time Shuttle Driver to join our team. As a Shuttle Driver, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional transportation services to our clients, ensuring their comfort and safety are prioritized throughout their journey.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage or other items as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a driver, preferably in a similar role, is preferred.
- Familiarity with GPS and navigation systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Operate the shuttle vehicle safely and courteously, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Transport passengers to and from designated locations according to the established schedule and route.
- Assist passengers with boarding and deboarding the shuttle, offering help with luggage or other personal items as needed.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor while interacting with passengers, providing them with information and assistance as required.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the shuttle is in good working condition and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Keep the shuttle clean and presentable at all times by following regular cleaning and maintenance schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management to report delays, accidents, or incidents.
- Ensure the safety and security of all passengers during transit.
