About The Position

HII - Mission Technologies is seeking a Part-Time Remote SharePoint Developer II that will support the AFIT Scientific Test & Analysis Techniques (STAT) Center of Excellance (CoE) by assessing, developing, and maintaining technical solutions that enhance and streamline the Product Flow Process (PFP). This role requires strong Power Platform expertise, experience working within U.S. Air Force network constraints, and the ability to translate user needs into reliable, secure, and scalable applications. The developer will collaborate closely with the STAT CoE team, office users, and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet mission requirements and function seamlessly in a government environment. The ideal candidate is a seasoned Power Platform and SharePoint professional—such as a retired or former DoD/USAF IT specialist—who is comfortable working independently and thrives in flexible, part‑time (15–20 hours/week) roles. They bring hands‑on experience with government network environments, strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to translate user needs into secure, efficient technical solutions.  This person communicates well with stakeholders, works efficiently in a remote role, and can be on‑site at Wright‑Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH when needed. Preference to local candidates (Dayton, Columbus, or Cincinnati area), as no travel, commuting, or relocation support is offered.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience with PowerApps, SharePoint Online, Lists, Libraries, Permissions, Power Automate
  • Previous experience with government SharePoint restrictions/firewalls
  • US Citizen
  • 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assess Product Flow Process (PFP) implementation and recommend updates/changes
  • Full Power Platform app development
