About The Position

This position is responsible for providing welcoming and professional service to patrons. Essential Duties: • Opening setup / closing duties and light cleaning projects. • Maintains clean and organized work area / service station. • Attends pre-shift meetings. • Cleans and stocks glassware. • Ensures the responsible service of alcohol to customers and retains up-to-date TiPS certification • Cuts off individuals & communicates to proper channels. • Take food orders, expediting food, etc. • Full knowledge of menu offerings and preparation techniques. • Stock service area with supplies. • Answers the telephone and passes callers to the proper authority. • Accurately tendering money and giving change for purchases. • Beer knowledge: Accurately describe all beers on tap & bottles in cooler, compare & contrast beers & styles, know proper glassware and price points. • Full knowledge of all employee discounts, policies, procedures for sales reps & guests. • Must have a flexible schedule, nights and weekends are required • Other duties as assigned. Education/ Experience/Skills: • Must be 21 years of age or older • Prior restaurant experience a plus • Friendly and welcoming customer service • Ability to multitask • Willingness and initiative to help out other employees with customers and service needs • Takes direction easily from co-workers and leaders/managers to deliver best customer experience • Effective communication and interpersonal skills Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 56.5 lbs. and carry objects of this weight up to 100 feet. • Ability to push/pull weights up to 50 lbs. and maintain the grip strength required to carry objects including buckets and cases. • Must also show fine motor dexterity. • Demonstrate their ability to climb stairs, stoop, kneel, twist, squat and reach overhead. • The position requires frequent, constant standing and walking.
