Part-Time Server
About The Position
Serve 400+ students and staff during meal periods in a friendly, professional manner Assist with light food prep between meal times (washing, chopping, assembling, portioning) Keep serving lines stocked, clean, and running smoothly Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times Help with setup and breakdown before and after meals Work as part of a team in a fast-paced dining environment Prior food service or prep experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate Reliable, positive attitude with a willingness to jump in where needed We are conveniently located 2 miles from the Long Island Expressway, but this location is not accessible by public transportation.
Requirements
- Reliable, positive attitude with a willingness to jump in where needed
- Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English accurately.
- Ability to interact with SAGE guests and Team Members in a professional and positive manner and provide service with a smile!
Nice To Haves
- Prior food service or prep experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Experience as a prep cook or line server in a commercial kitchen preferred.
Responsibilities

- Help with setup and breakdown before and after meals
- Work as part of a team in a fast-paced dining environment
- Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members.
- Maintain the customer service areas to ensure our guests enjoy amazing dining experiences.
- Prepare assigned menu items in accordance with SAGE recipes.
- Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques (HAACP).
