About The Position
The position involves keeping the grounds of City parks and other recreational areas clean and maintained. Responsibilities include repairing buildings, facilities, and equipment, as well as constructing forms, pouring, and finishing concrete for various structures such as sidewalks, walls, and curbs. The role also requires driving and servicing trucks, dump trucks, tractors, and mowers, installing and maintaining sprinkler systems, performing routine plumbing and carpentry work, and operating a hole digger. Additional tasks include mowing and edging grass, planting, fertilizing, and watering trees, flowers, and grass, and cleaning park grounds by picking up trash. Preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment is also a key responsibility, along with performing related duties as required.
