Part-Time SEIT Provider (Cases During School Hours!)
About The Position
QSAC is hiring part-time NYS Certified Special Education Teachers for our home and community based SEIT program (NYC boroughs). We offer flexible schedules with a minimum commitment of 5 hours per week, but can increase the case load to 20+ hours. All programmatic instruction is designed and implemented according to the principles and procedures of applied behavior analysis (ABA). Looking for more than just a job? SEIT Teachers with availability during school hours are an urgent need.
Requirements
- New York State Students with Disabilities B-2 Initial or Professional certification required
- Demonstrate patience and ability to learn and utilize systematic procedures to enhance independence and quality of life
- Ability to communicate effectively with others and individuals served
- Commitment to company values and adherence to policies
Nice To Haves
- Experience with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and applied behavior analysis is preferred but not required.
