About The Position
L3Harris Technologies is an agile global aerospace and defense technology innovator. This Part-Time Security Guard role involves routine security work, requiring some improvisation on isolated problems. The guard will provide guidance to visitors and employees, disseminate pertinent information, and represent the Security function to the employee population. The role requires frequent contact with all levels of personnel, as well as external contact with facility visitors and outside emergency services personnel. A primary responsibility is to protect classified information and ensure the safety and welfare of employees and visitors when on company property.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Routine security work requiring some improvisation on isolated problems
- Provide guidance to visitors and employee and disseminate any pertinent information, as necessary
- Represent the Security function to employee population as required
- Frequent contact with all levels of personnel
- External contact with facility visitors and outside emergency services personnel
- Protect classified information and employee/visitors safety and welfare when on company property
- Cover security posts for the safety of employees and visitors and all DOD requirements to protect classified information
