Part Time Seafood Clerk

About the position

This is a part time position. Responsible for processing/packaging/stocking seafood products according to Seafood Standards, cleaning work areas, providing customer service unloading stock, and reloading salvage. Perform duties of meat clerk when assigned. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Responsibilities

• Processing seafood products according to Seafood Standards
• Packaging seafood products
• Stocking seafood products
• Cleaning work areas
• Providing customer service
• Unloading stock
• Reloading salvage
• Performing duties of meat clerk when assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• One to three months related experience and/or training
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English
• Ability to write simple correspondence in English
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers
• Ability to perform operations using units of American money and weight measurement
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

Benefits

• Pay Transparency: $13.85/hour to $20.10/hour based on experience and skill sets
