About The Position

The position involves examining and grading donated goods for sale in Goodwill of North Georgia retail stores. The role requires processing goods efficiently to meet production goals in a fast-paced environment while adhering to standard operating procedures. Employees will contribute to a guest-friendly culture and support the organization's mission of helping local job seekers find meaningful work.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and sound judgment.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Support a guest friendly culture by greeting every guest and suggesting additional treasures.
• Display a professional, patient, and 'people first' attitude with guests.
• Effectively transition product to the retail sales floor with attention to detail and urgency.
• Execute and maintain visual merchandising strategies.
• Effectively recommend/upsell merchandise and round up during transactions.
• Accurately handle point of sale transactions with guests.
• Identify and quickly solve problems and/or seek management support.
• Effectively communicate with management, peers, and guests.
• Promote and demonstrate cooperation and teamwork with peers.
• Consistently perform work tasks according to training playbooks, e-learning, and work instructions.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area and retail sales floor at all times.
• Adhere to safety and security practices including reporting safety hazards and injuries to management.
• Attend and complete all required trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
