About The Position

The Associate I, Retail Sales Floor is responsible for ensuring the sales floor area is well stocked with product in an organized and presentable fashion. The Associate will be in contact with customers and expected to be responsive in communication and provide excellent customer service. The Associate is responsible for overall cleanliness of sales floor, restrooms, and dressing room(s) (where applicable).

Requirements

• A High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• One (1) year of retail experience is preferred.
• Prior visual merchandising experience is preferred.
• Must have attention to detail and ability to make decisions.
• Ability to use basic technologies to follow company standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, managers, supervisors, staff, and peers.
• Must be able to work a varied schedule which may include weekends, evenings and holidays as needed with occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Meets or exceeds minimum productivity standards and expectations/Key Performance Indicator (KPI) for assigned duties.
• Ambassador of pricing according to Goodwill standards of quality and value of product (Good, Better, Best).
• Maintains a clean and organized sales floor by regularly cleaning and organizing shelves and racks.
• Ensure sales floor areas are properly merchandised to standard (categorized, colorized, sized).
• Provide excellent customer service to fellow staff and customers by adhering to the 10-foot rule.
• Rotate or pull old or unsold product(s) in a timely manner from the sales floor.
• Responsible for E-Commerce product identification and pulling from sales floor.
• Follow all retail center policies and procedures.
• Follow all safety processes and procedures to help provide a safe working environment for employees and customers.
• Crosstrain in other departments or areas; act as a back-up for other areas as required.
