About The Position
The Retail Sales Associate at Goodwill of Colorado is tasked with providing exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and responding to their inquiries in a timely and professional manner. This role is crucial in maintaining a well-stocked and organized sales floor that meets company standards. The Sales Associate will operate a point-of-sale cash register system, ensuring that all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. The Retail Centers operate from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays, and from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sundays, requiring flexibility in scheduling to accommodate various shifts, including evenings and weekends. In addition to customer service, the Sales Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized sales environment. This includes regularly cleaning and organizing shelves and racks, picking up items from the floor, and ensuring that fitting rooms and coffee bar areas are tidy and well-stocked. The role may also involve cross-training in other departments and acting as a backup when necessary. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers, managers, and peers, and will be expected to perform all other duties as assigned to support the overall operations of the store.
